We are excited to be partnering with @meloyelonz this summer, offering ebikes rentals as part of our Pedal n Picnic experience - a cycle version of a Mystery Picnic. Exploring @thecoastaltrailnz - Matakana, Omaha, and Point Wells.

Fun Fact - back in 2019, when I started Village Picnic, I was sourcing local artisan products and packaging them up into kete baskets by @harakekebasketry and hamper boxes by @ribbonandbluesnz

My business was fortunate enough to survive covid because I was able to source and deliver to hungry and deprived kiwis across the country, who couldn't eat out! I loved being able to continue to support my local producers during this really tough time.

But after covid, demand for my hampers dropped off completely, especially when Jacinda told everyone to "go and have a picnic."
I quickly put my thinking cap on, as I wanted to create a way of supporting the locals still, but in a fun and interactive way, outdoors! And that is when Mystery Picnic was born!

I still love creating the odd hamper now, and then, for those who remember that was what I did. Especially being able to show off the "newish" kids on the block @rootstockjournal @matakanaginco @healthsupportnaturally
