1. How do I order my picnic hamper or gift kete?

You can order a pre-designed kete in our shop, or if you are after something bespoke then shoot me an email philippa@villagepicnic.co.nz make sure you let me know your budget and your recipient’s taste & style.

2. When and where do I collect my kete from?

We are located conveniently at the entry to Matakana at 482 Green Road, Matakana and open daily from for pre-collections. If you can’t collect then we will find a way, let us know your plans, there may be an additional charge for delivery.

3. Do I need to return the kete?

No. The kete is yours to keep and included in the cost of the picnic, unless otherwise requested. If you prefer to have a disposable bag that can be recycled, please choose this option when shopping. All gift hampers include the kete. If you would prefer a wooden crate or recyclable bag please specify in the comments section.

4. How much is the hamper delivery fee?

Once we know your address and/or delivery location, we’ll be able to confirm the delivery fee. Matakana, Point Wells & Omaha incurs no delivery fee. Outside of this region the delivery fee will be calculated at check out.

5. How much notice do you need to create a picnic?

Generally speaking I require two days notice. That’s not to say if you are passing through and have a spontaneous thought to choose a picnic spot then please give me a call 0279120710 and I will do my best to accommodate your request. Like any great restaurant, I do get fully booked especially on weekends, so the more notice you can give the better!
