The food … More selection was very good quality, an excellently catered for our dietary needs. The scavenger hunt clues were quite tricky, but the destinations have been thoughtfully curated. Each venue was clearly invested in Philippa’s idea, adding that extra little bit of personalisation to the day. -
My wife surprised me with the Standard Mystery Picnic from Village Picnic for my birthday, and it was one of the most fun and unique ways we've ever spent a day together. The experience was incredibly well thought out — the clues were … More engaging and led us to local spots and hidden gems we had never encountered before, despite being familiar with the area.
Each stop introduced us to delicious food and friendly local businesses, and by the time we laid out our spread at the final picnic spot, we were both full, happy, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The location was absolutely stunning — the perfect place to relax and enjoy everything we had collected along the way.
A huge shoutout to Phillipa, who was an excellent host and clearly puts a lot of love and care into making the experience special. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a memorable date day, birthday surprise, or just a fun adventure! -

My husband and I had an absolute blast at our village picnic over the weekend! The event was cleverly organized, with a series of challenging clues to solve that led us to collect all the essentials for a romantic picnic.
